The beauty of Iyengar Yoga is the transformative nature of the practice. You will learn the safest and most beneficial alignment for each pose (asana).  The practice of these poses will become meditation in action.  Let me help you to learn how to maximize the benefits of yoga.  Iyengar yoga is appropriate for all ages and abilities.  Join me for the class that best suites your time and needs..

The following classes are for Heritage Hills residents only:

Thursday 4:00 pm Back Care class – Upstairs in the Lake Lodge all levels are welcome. Dates:  You will strengthen and  lengthen your spine helping to relieve back pain and stiffness.   All poses are adaptable for each student and all levels are welcome.  Please bring a sticky yoga mat if you have one and one thick firm blanket or large thick towel.

Tuesday 5:30 pm Class General Level – Upper level Lake Lodge. This class will run monthly. We will use blocks or chairs when needed and practice standing poses as well as chair variations.  Each class will end with a short relaxation. All levels welcome. Please bring sticky mat if you have one and one thick firm blanket or towel.parsva hasta padasana

Monday 12:00 pm class General level with restorative poses at the end of each class – Lake Lodge upper level.   We will learn the basic poses including standing, forward bending, gentle back bending, and twists. Chairs and supports used when needed.  All asanas (poses) can be adjusted to the needs of the individual.  At the end of each class we will do at least one restorative pose followed by a relaxation.
